Casey Caruso started her career as a research engineer at Johns Hopkins Applied Physics lab and went on to start her own company in the machine learning space. Currently Casey is an engineer at Google and is the lead organizer of BlockchainMeetup@Google in SF. At Google she works on a ML research team focusing on understanding user behavior at scale.
Casey also works part-time at Bessemer Venture Partners, helping develop their blockchain investing practice. Casey’s background is in Computer Engineering (BS) and Computer Science (MS) and originally got involved in the crypto space through mining. Before Bessemer Casey worked at Vy Capital as a part-time associate and prior to Vy, she angel invested in the space, focusing primarily on infrastructure bets.
